Animal Health Technician - $2,000 Hiring Bonus
How will you make an impact?
As an Animal Health Technician, you will be responsible for the well-being of all our research animals. Your success will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

What will you be working on?
You will be responsible for the well-being of the animals . You will make sure that their environment is clean, that they have food and water, that they do their enrichment activities .
You will also follow up on their health status, administer medications, take blood samples and give injections while respecting the different protocols.
What will you be working on?
You will be responsible of evaluating animal tissues for pathologists. You will learn dissection techniques , specific tissue collection, abnormality assessment and tissue conservation methods through a continuous training and development program that will increase your knowledge of the anatomy of various animals .
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with a technical background in animal health, bio-ecology or with a bachelor's degree in biology or animal science .
The ideal candidate must be a team player with good observation skills , must be able to work physically (standing up most of the time and lifting weights of 40 lbs), must have a good understanding of written English and must be available to work a variety of hours.
