WildBrain Studios is looking for an experienced Art Director to join our team! In this role you will play a key role in controlling the overall visual direction.
Working closely with directors and clients, you will create cutting-edge, appealing and fresh new looks for each show by infusing them with the latest trends in design.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Art Director to be the driving force on some of the top brands in children’s entertainment.
In the Night Garden has been a staple of kids’ TV for over a decade, as a show uniquely designed to relax and calm its audience while entertaining them.
Created by the team that brought you Teletubbies, the original style of In the Night Garden included a mix of live action costumed actors, puppetry, stop-motion and 2D animation.
Our goal is to retain this original diverse, imaginative style while moving the show fully into photorealistic 3D animation, produced in our Unreal Engine pipeline.
Join us as we recreate a large cast of wonderfully silly characters beloved by children and parents worldwide, and take them on brand new imaginative journeys to new places and new friends.
Set in a magical forest, dappled with beautiful sunlight and colourful flowers, the series has a stunning look and a whimsical nursery rhyme picture book feel, as well as musical elements.
This magical series is a very special one, and we are excited to be part of it.
We are currently working virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time our hiring teams are ready to support interviews via video conferencing, and we are enabling artists to work from home until the studio can reopen.
We’d love to hear from you! #stayhomestaysafe
