Job Summary :
Reporting to the CEO, the HR Director will build collaborative relationships at multiple organizational levels, with Executives, Managers and Team Members located throughout Canada, US, Central & Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
The Director of HR will be working quite self-sufficiently along with an HR Advisor direct report in Vancouver. The role will also collaborate with counter-
parts in other Constellation-owned companies and will benefit from guidance from the Volaris Group, Communications & Media Portfolio Head of HR.
The HR Director will have the ability to support the development of programs and processes, and be customer focused to ensure best delivery of HR services to management and employees and will share best practices with internal clients.

Job Description :
Work with Volaris & Constellation HR and ensure alignment on HR strategies, procedures, tools, and processes.
Help guide change management initiatives.
Evolve the blueprint for the organization’s employment brand and develop global hiring strategies.
Create a compensation model that attracts top talent and maximizes performance.
Drive the performance management system that promotes high performance, including working with mangers and team members on creating development plans.
Coordinate / facilitate training initiatives to meet team and company objectives.
Along with the management team, build employee engagement strategies and activities to improve the employee experience and overall retention.
Provide consultation for addressing employee issues and concerns.
Coordinate and administer the annual employee performance and / or salary reviews.
Research, maintain, and administer international corporate handbook.
Assist in researching and implementing staff incentive programs, employee benefits programs, social and social responsibility programs.
Understand what role every employee plays and how it affects Company structure, productivity, and efficiencies.
Administer Health & Safety and Social Committee programming.
8+ years progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience working in a high-tech or software environment preferred.
Proven track record of building strong working relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions to design business solutions.
Human Resources certification (CPHR) is preferred, or equivalent HR education.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education / experience preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain objective.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency using HR software with Workday being an asset.
Results oriented and self-motivated with leadership abilities.
Creative, logical, and analytical with willingness to constantly innovate.
Ability to work outside of standard office hours is required at times.
