    Job Summary

    The Food Service Associate performs dietary related tasks such as food portioning, minor food preparation including sandwich making, taking meal selections with patients, tray assembly, tray delivery and soiled tray collection, ware washing, restocking pantries, general sanitation of area, etc.

    Performs all related sanitation duties as per established procedures and WHMIS guidelines. The Food Services Associate role models the organization’s core competencies.


  • Minimum Grade 12 education
  • Food service work experience preferred
  • Food retail experience an asset
  • Dietary Aide course, cooking program, HACCP training, or Proton course an asset.
  • Demonstrates ability to read and write English and displays excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to adhere to departmental and legislated health and safety standards.
  • Must be willing to work required shift.
