Uline is looking for an eager, bilingual (English / French) professional individual to join our team as a Collections Specialist.
In this role you will work with over 150 customers on a daily basis to resolve past due balances. The ideal candidate will have collections or call center experience and is comfortable working in a high-
volume, fast-paced environment.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiate communication with customers to resolve past-due balances.
Respond to a high-volume of email correspondences from customers.
Handle 150+ customer contacts daily.
Determine appropriate escalation for delinquent accounts.
Identify high-risk accounts and coordinate with management to minimize them.
Utilize good judgement and research skills in collection efforts and record status in account notes.
Support the management of appropriate account aging.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Join Our Talent Network
High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary degree in finance or accounting preferred.
Minimum one-year experience in collections.
Experience in reconciling accounts.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong phone manner with the ability to multitask.
Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
