Reporting directly to the President, and as a key member of our growing team, the VP, Marketing & Communications will define marketing strategies to support our growth by defining the overall national corporate marketing and communication strategy.

In this role, you will play an integral part in developing, implementing and managing key marketing and brand development strategies, develop communication planning and drive B2B marketing among existing People Corporation practices, partners, new acquisitions.

This role will also be accountable to grow brand awareness in key markets to strengthen sales and business opportunities.

  • Lead People Corporation’s national marketing and communications strategy for People Corporation and partner firms
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define corporate marketing and communication objectives

  • Partner with sales leaders and other key stakeholders to support the strategy for achieving strategic business goals and revenue plan
  • Manage brand transition among existing People Corporation practices and acquisitions
  • Grow brand awareness in key markets and channels
  • Create a culture of innovation and excellence in a fast-paced lean environment
  • Recruit, hire, develop and manage Marketing professionals in order to effectively work through others to accomplish business goals and empower employee success
  • 10 years of progressive marketing, communications and brand strategy experience
  • 5 years of marketing leadership experience with success in building and leading high performing marketing teams

  • University Degree in Marketing & Communications
  • MBA (asset not a requirement)
  • Proven experience and success in brand transitions, consolidations and acquisitions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities with experience in developing and managing timelines, schedules, budgets, vendors and resources across functional areas, as well experience managing P&L
  • Previous experience working in a publicly traded company is an asset
  • Must be results-oriented, entrepreneurial, self-starter , and a strong communicator that possesses an executive presence
