Job Summary
The position of Specialist Integration is responsiblefor the successful deployment of advanced infrastructure, telecom, Internet,Industrial IoT, software development, applications and technology solutions,systems and services.
The Specialist ensures that team members andprojects meet all business requirements, and contributes to the globalevolution of CN’s I&T.
The Specialist plays a key role in the team,ensuring that the technology delivered is secure, reliable, available,resilient, performant and aligned with safety standards as per businessrequirements.
The Specialist is also responsible for design review andacceptance, complex incident and problem management, providing training andmentoring, as well as 3rd level support.
Main Responsibilities
Integration
Engage with customers to capture requirements
Contribute to technical proposals, specifications, and requirements
Create technical diagrams and documentation for the solution
Understand integration points between different systems and highlight the potential risks associated with the delivery of solutions
Establish test plans, conduct tests and log results
Establish deployment strategy and guide project team and operations
Lead and execute installations / upgrades, configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure
Lead problem investigation, follow-up on resolution and perform preventive maintenance tasks
Work with the team to define, develop and implement appropriate automated processes and solutions to optimize day-to-day support activities
Maintain current process documentation : run books, diagrams, system layouts
Conduct advanced troubleshooting and correct vulnerabilities and bugs with vendors
Participate in project analysis and planning phase to estimate effort and build activity plan
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors as necessary
Practice Evolution
Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of tools and technologies for existing and future business needs
Act as a technical expert who can provide training to multiple teams
Lead transition to operations : update documentation, training and presentation
Contribute to product roadmap
Contribute to integration processes and procedures continuous improvement
Experience
Between 5 and 10 years of relevant work experience
Experience in project delivery, Agile and waterfall
Experience designing, configuring, and deploying systems
Experience delivering technology projects involving multiple parties
Education / Certification / Designation
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree or work experience

Technical Skills / Knowledge
Demonstrated experience with Ansible, Ansible Tower and Python
Experience with managing Operating Systems (e.g. Linux Redhat)
Knowledge of RedHat Virtualization and RedHat Satellite
Experience working with databases : Oracle and Postgres
Knowledge of REST (APIs) Web Services
Experience working with Jira and Confluence
Experience with source control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and Git workflows
Experience working with Agile / DevOps, continuous integration and deployment
