To support our growth, we are looking for a Manager, Canadian Tax to join our team of private company focused specialists.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Working closely with the Tax Partners and other senior tax staff to develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients
  • Working as a crucial link between the Tax Partners and junior staff
  • Performing technical research, developing and documenting tax planning recommendations
  • Reviewing Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Supporting and mentoring firm staff in respect of tax matters
  • Identifying client service opportunities
  • A successful candidate will have :

  • At least 2-4 years of tax experience in a professional services firm
  • Canadian CPA designation
  • Completion of the CICA In-depth Tax Course
  • Ability to read and understand complex tax legislation
  • Self-motivation with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions
  • Strong proficiency in client-focused service
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects
