About the Role

In this opportunity as Risk Business Partner, examples of some key areas of responsibilities are :

  • Supporting the development and promotion of the risk framework as it evolves to meet business needs and keep pace with best practice.
  • Embracing and supporting the business as it transforms towards a new strategic vision and respond positively towards changes in the business to achieve that vision.
  • Owning risk reporting across the functions / segments that you support
  • Designing sustainable control solutions, remediation activities and working with peers to perform read across within O&T to deliver broader risk and control program improvements.
  • Driving risk culture within the functions, supporting risk awareness campaigns etc. to help risk become embedded in the day to day and ensuring it supports the right level of risk taking.
  • Supporting the Lead Risk Business partner to conduct risk analysis and assurance work as needed, including scenario planning, stress testing, trend analysis and control effectiveness reviews.
  • Supporting the facilitation of the identification, capture, reporting and management of emerging risks across TR with a heavy focus on operations and technology.
  • Supplying risk management training to the 1st line and 2nd line to ensure there is the right level of understanding of risk management theory and application.
  • Acting as a point of expert guidance to the wider business on risk related matters.
  • Providing independent review & challenge of risk registers to ensure all material risks have been identified and managed according to risk appetite and tolerance.
  • Staying up to date with industry changes with regard to risk approach and management and best practice.
  • About You

    You’re a fit for the role of Risk Business Partner if you have :

  • 10+ years experience of working with / in large scale organisations to advise on, design and implement risk and control frameworks
  • Deep understanding of technology, business operations and data analytics
  • History of partnering with technologists and operations functions to effectively identify and mitigate risks, particularly as it relates to technology driven innovation
  • Proven ability to take initiative and influence within a matrix organization to build strong, productive relationships.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology
  • Proven ability to coach and develop teams on risk and control best practices, including cross-functional collaboration.
  • College degree preferred
  • This position can be based in one of the following locations : Zug, Switzerland, Toronto, Canada, Bangalore, India or US.
