Your role will involve :

The Senior Manager, Technology Communications will pay an important role in ensuring that technology is used effectively to help the businessachieve its goals by :

  • Developing and managing a technology communications strategy which drives understanding and uptake of SITA’stechnology tools across our business.
  • Building highly impactful communications to support the successful implementation of corporate technology
  • projects
  • Creating learning opportunities to reinforce technology skills capability among employees
  • Developing and guiding best practices on technology communications.
  • Strategy & Planning :

  • Build a technology communications strategy that engages the technology stakeholders across SITA
  • Understand and support communications for changes in access to technology through collaboration tools, mobile working and virtual teams
  • Corporate collaboration

  • Partner in cross functional teams as a communications lead, providing insight, best practice and
  • support
  • Support the rollout of corporate technology programs and initiatives, working with key
  • stakeholders including the Head of Information Services, Head of Corporate
  • Information Security Office and their teams
  • Support change management initiatives to drive technology behaviour changeglobally
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications, Employee Communications and other internal
  • communications teams to align and integrate initiatives and communications activity
  • Communications

  • Develop an editorial plan for technology communications
  • Build a clear and engaging narrative around the technology and tools in use that makes it
  • relevant for employees
  • Create, maintain and publish a range of technology communications that engage, interest
  • and inform our employees across a range of communications channels and
  • platforms
  • Ensure ease of access to, clarity and consistency of technologyinformation
  • Build on the current technology tone of voice’ to make access to technology content simple,
  • engaging and relevant
  • Create / identify appealing and useful technology learning content for employees that relates to their role
  • and requirements
  • Facilitate collection and feedback of employee feedback through mechanisms including focus
  • groups, pulse surveys and employee learning sessions
  • Measure and monitor responses to technology communication and adapt / evolve as
  • required
  • Work with inhouse design and brand teams, and external agencies to create fresh and
  • simple ways to explain technology
  • Governance

  • Provide guidelines, structure, training, tools, and best practice approaches as
  • required to ensure effective and consistentcommunications.
  • Contribute to the update of corporate technology policies, guidance documents and
  • technology training
  • Metrics

  • KPIs related to successful implementation of corporate technology projects
  • Increase in employee satisfaction with our tools and technology
  • Uptake in use of relevant tools and technology among employee persona groups
  • Learning and training opportunities delivered
  • Contribute to and support delivery of action plans related to technology programs
  • Qualifications

    We would like it if you have the below qualifications, knowledge and experiences :

  • Relevant communications and business experience essential.
  • university degree in Marketing, Communications or related subject preferred.
  • Experience

  • 6+ years of professional communications experience, including internal / employee communications
  • Good experience in Project Management
  • Stakeholder identification and engagement
  • Previous experience of working in a global, multi-cultural and fast paced environment
  • Experience of change programs
  • Experience in working in a technology-led organization
  • Experience of working in cross-functional and virtual teams
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have a robust understanding of technology, and be able to develop simple ways to represent complex content
  • Ability to interpret the needs of employee groups for technology and direct to the most effective solutions
  • Ability to advise, counsel and challenges on effective communications
  • Works effectively in and across complex organizations, and is at ease managing and effectively operating within a matrix organization
  • Proven knowledge on the techniques / ways of working to drive and build employee engagement
  • Must be able to network persuasively and manage complex delivery across virtual teams
  • Writing skills with the ability to create engaging copy
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Budget management
  • Development of relevant metrics and measures
  • Ability to self-direct and assess appropriate activities to deliver on the overall aims of the role
  • Agency briefing and management
  • Ability to incorporate other company wide programs, such as brand, change management, values
