Responsibilities include

  • Deliver full-cycle recruitment services acrossall departments
  • Drive innovative and creative talentstrategies, including multi-channel recruitment marketing campaigns, to buildrobust talent pools and pipelines.
  • Define and execute sourcing strategies toidentify suitable candidates, conduct pre-screening phone interviews, onsiteinterviews and reference checks.
  • Research, plan and attend industry and in-houserecruitment events; build relationships with colleges, universities and othereducational institutions and attend job fairs.
  • Design and implementin collaboration with the HR team and management team a strategic workforceplan including short and long-term strategies and goals.
  • Manage administrative components related torecruitment activities including but not limited to template creation, jobposting / advertising, interview and hiring event scheduling and candidatecorrespondence.
  • Collect, validate and analyze recruitmentmetrics and design recruitment strategies and practices that support businessobjectives and achieve quality of hire, time to fill and diversity targets.
  • Review and evolve RHC recruitment practices,including, develop and maintain talent acquisition tools, interview guidelinesand talent management with an EDI lens.
  • Maintain awarenessof and ensure that the recruitment and selection processcomplies with all applicable laws, policies and collective agreements.
  • Provide guidance andensure proper interpretation of collective agreements as they relate torecruitment, while collaborating Sr. HRBP and leadership.
  • Plan and implementeffective Corporate Orientation sessions with engagement across the HR team andvarious corporate services.
  • Assist with specialHR projects as required.
  • Provide backup administrative support,including but not limited to, preparing letters, updating HR databases,including pension and benefit software, and maintaining tracking databases.
  • The successful candidate will have thefollowing qualifications / experience :

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business / Human Resources or other related field or successful completion of a Diploma in Human Resources field required.
  • Minimum five (5) year working experience in a talent acquisition / recruitment role. Experience within a unionized environment.
  • Experience in a health care setting preferred.

  • Current knowledge of, or the ability to understand and interpret as required : Ontario Employment legislation (ESA), WSIB, Human Rights Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Labour Relations Act, Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS
  • Demonstrated analytical, partnership building, and customer service skills with ability to develop rapport
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Evaluates own needs for personal and professional development to maintain high level of competence
