    Being a Training Advisor means acting as a resource person in order to provide expertise in your field and coach sales and advisory employees on how to use the various applications of the NBF network.

    It means identifying technological business levers for employees in NBF branches by providing quality technical learning support.

    It also means influencing departments' decisions and orientations in order to advance their development in line with the sector's business objectives.

    Your main challenges :

  • Leading training and coaching activities for users by leveraging your knowledge and technical expertise as an IT expert
  • Being an applications coach for employees in the NBF network
  • Developing remote learning strategies for in the classroom and in the branch
  • Designing, developing and updating various training materials : training plans, manuals, videos, PowerPoint presentations, podcasts, etc.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in your sector and reviewing systems and work processes in order to continuously improve them and ensure their profitability
  • Serving as a technical expert and providing expertise on committees and special or large-scale projects
  • Providing useful information and reviewing tools to facilitate the decision-making process
  • Identifying user needs, understanding business issues and adapting your coaching efforts to implement your activities
  • Ensuring and increasing the level of proficiency and integration of all technological tools in the sector
  • Measuring and ensuring user satisfaction with the learning support service
  • Contributing to major technological rollouts. Supporting and monitoring the stages of change implementation
  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and systems and reviewing mechanisms to ensure information integrity and system stability
  • Identifying complex operational issues and resolving them by modifying and developing concepts or areas for improvement, within general parameters
  • Developing, designing and monitoring control mechanisms to ensure they meet user needs and business imperatives
  • Designing, developing, updating and sharing systems documentation
  • Interacting with the different sectors of the Bank, business partners and managers and / employees to offer support and specialized advice
  • Qualifications

  • Three-year professional college diploma in a related field, or academic equivalent, and eight years' relevant experience
  • Experience leading training activities and with communications
  • Experience with the brokerage industry (wealth management), an asset
  • Experience with the Croesus, Thomson, GDO, GDI and Iris applications
  • Experience in a team of investment advisors, an asset
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Power Point)
  • Knowledge of Hub collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Yammer, Teams)
  • Ability to communicate application learning in the business sector
  • Able to interact with Investment Advisors and their teams
  • Good understanding of the sales-advisory approach
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), essential
  • The selected candidate will be based according to his place of residence

    Travel required 50% of the time (both within and outside Quebec)
