The Senior Technical Support Analyst / Junior System Administrator is responsible for supporting the comprehensive technology platforms for the Business by managing and coordinating all day-to-day activities for our client, while acting as a liaison between their vendors and the businesses requirements.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, personable and a multi-skilled IT professional with excellent all-round technical expertise.

They require knowledge of systems, hardware, technical support, macOS, Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk, and multi-office remote infrastructure management.

They must possess tech-functional communication skills with the ability to convey complex details in simple terminology for senior leadership executives.

Responsibilities

  • End-user technical support for macOS and Windows workstations
  • Software troubleshooting and support for Adobe Creative Suite of products, Autodesk Suite of products
  • Technical support of MS Office Suite of products
  • System administration of Windows Servers and Email Servers
  • Hardware support and inventory control
  • Working closely with vendors ensuring client satisfaction and successful project completion
  • Evaluating business needs, system functionality, and ensuring the primary objective meets or exceeds requirements
  • Issue and risk management and resolution
  • Escalation to Managing Director
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of extensive working experience in supporting multi-platform systems and related applications
  • 4 years experience supporting macOS
  • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, switches and wireless devices
  • Experience supporting Windows Servers
  • Extensive experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows and Macs.
  • Extensive application support experience with MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player and contributor to a positive team dynamic
  • Ability to work under pressure; sense of urgency and customer service-oriented
  • Versatility, adaptability to new technologies and change
  • Strong organizational, priority management and multitasking skills; results-oriented
  • Motivated, creative, flexible, responsible and proactive
  • Availability to work outside regular work hours
