Role summary :
To obtain the highest level of reliability of the Pacific Centre electrical systems for the benefit and safety of all tenants and visibility to the complex through the implementation of good maintenance and trade practices.
Responds to all electrical and lighting related issues.
Note : Shift is 2 : 30pm - 11 : 00pm Monday to Friday.
You will :
Performs tasks outlined by the work orders generated by the Scheduled, Unscheduled and Preventive Maintenance Program and responds to service requests in a professional workmanlike and timely manner.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in a timely manner in conjunction with work orders assigned by Lead Hand, Service Centre and Management.
Reports all deficiencies to equipment to the Service Center, Lead hand or Management. In the event equipment is considered to be essential, will affect or direct immediate repairs as required.
Participates in all training activities planned by the Lead Hand or Management and assists as required in the set-up of each session.
Take appropriate upgrade courses to remain current on all new equipment and to keep abreast of changes in technology relating to Pacific Centre.
Assist maintenance personnel in the safe and proper operation of equipment as required or as directed by Management.
Operates, services, repairs and maintains in good working order all electrical equipment required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Centre, utilizes all areas of electrical / technical expertise in order to provide tenants and customers with a safe and healthy environment.
Responds to Service Requests and assists in solving problems as required to ensure a high level of customer service to tenants and customers.
Provides support and / or assumes other responsibilities within the Operations department in order to maintain overall team effectiveness.
Performs all other duties as assigned by Management.
You Have :
Minimum grade 12 education.
Must be licensed to perform electrical work per BC Safety Authority requirements (e.g. red seal, BCTQ).
Must have electrical T.Q. knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and maintain safe working practices and demonstrate them to co-
workers and contractors.
Ability to troubleshoot Fan / Pumps, and other building equipment; read schematic diagrams; read Electrical Construction prints
