Overview

Cook and prepare food items according to cooking instructions at assigned location. Must be available to work weekdays in May and June.

This position pays minimum wage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Good communication skills
  • An interest in food preparation
  • Enthusiastic with good communication skills
  • Able to perform heavy lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Team oriented
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, late nights, on weekends and holidays
  • Able to work in varying weather conditions (depending on your location)
  • Reliable source of transportation
  • Responsibilities

  • Cook and prepare food items according to cooking instructions at assigned location
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared as per Picture Perfect system (as designed by the Dept.)
  • Receive / store / prepare / hold and serve food in compliance with the Ontario Health regulations and department specifications
  • Follow proper cleaning and sanitation practices for food and non-food contact surfaces and equipment
  • Practice proper personal hygiene on a daily basis
  • Operate equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications and department safety policies
  • Ensure all menu items and food supplies are available
  • Address any guest questions and concerns regarding the location / park
  • Assist with other duties as required
