The finance department assumes responsibility for managing and reporting the organization’s finances. It is committed to continuous improvements in the way it organizes the financial and accounting affairs, including the preparation and presentation of appropriate accounts, and the provision of financial information for executives.
The primary function of this position is to provide support to Finance in the areas of closing and reporting, including month-end analysis, forecasting.
Additional responsibilities include gathering of key data from management, internal business groups and the financial system to analyzes trends and explain variances.
The successful candidate will create and update various reporting tools to assist in ongoing analysis and dissemination of information to stakeholders.
In addition to the primary function responsibilities, this role will spend a portion of its time in 2021 / 2022 as part of the Finance project team responsible for upgrading the existing ERP system from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Microsoft D365.
A supporting role within the compliance area will round out this position’s responsibilities.
