RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform API 570 inspections, assessing inspection results, reporting all findings, and recommending any required repairs
Act as a Crew Lead and manage / motivate a crew of NDT technicians who will assist with all inspection activities
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and co-workers
Coordinate all on-site schedule logistics and contractor management
Observe and follow safety rules and practices, and other other safety requirements for all projects
ROLE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES :
Technical understanding of API 570 standards and all supporting documentation
Understanding of applicable provincial / federal regulatory requirements related to API 570
Perform and / or coordinate pressure equipment, tank and piping inspections
Project coordination
Field inspection and work planning

Technical writing and field inspection reporting skills
Project delivery
Project and process quality control monitoring

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
API 570 certification
ABSA In-Service Pressure Vessel (IPV) certification
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry / Rescue, Fall Protection, and WHMIS training
Ability to perform physically demanding activities that may involve moving, setting up, and operating inspection equipment
Willingness to travel
