The Distillery Restaurants Corporation , creators of Madrina Bar y Tapas, Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie, El Catrin Destileria, Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill, Archeo Trattoria and Distillery Events (the Fermenting Cellar and The Distillery District), Call Centre Representatives.

Our venues including our centralized reservation centre are located in the Distillery Historic District, one of North America's most exciting art and shopping destinations and home to some of the top-

ranked restaurants in the City of Toronto.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Call Centre Representatives - hospitality gurus who take pride in their role and understand that the first impression, is a lasting impression.

The ideal candidate will be naturally inclined to find ways to elevate the guest experience during every phone call.

Our Call Centre Representatives support DRC restaurants to create positive guest experiences. They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing reservations, maximizing seating and communicating with host teams and managers.

Call Centre Representatives leave a lasting impression with all guests through their professionalism and attention to detail from the very first phone call.

What DRC Call Centre Representatives do :

  • Answer calls for all five DRC restaurants (Madrina Bar y Tapas, Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie, El Catrin Destileria, Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill Archeo Trattoria)
  • Answer calls for Distillery Events when their office is closed
  • Accurately take reservations and modify guest status in OpenTable and SevenRooms
  • Answer all guests questions regarding our restaurants and The Distillery District
  • Effectively manage reservation flow to maximize seating capacity
  • Communicate with Hosts and Managers to maintain proper reservation flow throughout the restaurants
  • Ensure that the office and desks are tidy and organized
  • Completing closing duties (ie. plugging in all keyboards, cleaning any dishes used, shutting off all Call Centre iPads and computers, locking the office, setting the alarm)
  • Know all reservation guidelines and event guidelines for each individual restaurant
  • Complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for that day
  • Complete all additional office duties (ie. organizing files, cutting, printing and folding menus etc.)
  • Check Call Centre email regularly throughout your shift and respond to guests inquiries accurately and in a timely manner
  • Lead team by example to exhibit, encourage and motivate DRC's Values & Beliefs
  • What DRC Call Centre Representatives bring :

  • Minimum one (1) year hosting experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Experience using OpenTable GuestCenter restaurant-reservation system
  • A strong problem solver with an insatiable desire to positively impact restaurant reviews
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Able to work in a busy, changing environment
