Directly contribute to strategy, business development and business capture related to the Cyber business unit through ownership of select campaigns and captures related to Canadian and International cyber program captures;
Assure a high level of customer intimacy with respect to business growth and capture;
Ongoing customer relationship management of existing customers as well as cultivating and growing new relationships within our target Customer group;
Leading, Involvement in, and providing input on, requests for information (RFI) and request for proposals (RFP) as well as leading and contributing to business cases, competitive analysis and strategic plan development
Lead capture manager / proposal manager team activities including pursuit decisions, bid confirmation gates, formal management reviews as well as key proposal development gates / milestones
Participate in various elements of our cyber marketing and sales programs including trade shows, press releases, brochures, data sheets, white papers, briefings etc.
At least 10+ years project management, engineering and / or business development experience, preferably in the defence industry sector;
10+ years of previous experience in developing and leading teams around business captures (RFIs / RFPs), preferably within the defence industry sector;
Strong written and oral communication skills with direct application to proposal development;
Desire and capability to interact effectively with the customer base to influence, negotiate, assure a level of intimacy and satisfaction, and grow the assigned portfolio.
Capability to provide effective briefings to senior management both internally as well as externally within our customer base.
Be willing to travel (10-15%)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Software or related technical / engineering degree
Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
