Job Description :

  • The RN provides direct nursing care to insure individualized quality patient care.
  • Must be knowledgeable and administer medications on a regular basis to maintain competency.
  • Need to be able to smoothly handle multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change to meet the needs of patients.
  • Actively participate in assessments, planning, implementation, on-going monitoring and continuous evaluation of the patients’ treatment plans and reviews and complete documentation in the patient’s medical record.
  • Make rounds and perform special checks on patients in order to ensure patient safety. This is done by observing the patient’s physical and psychological status with 15 minute checks.
  • Perform all aspects of nursing tasks and reinforce appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide accurate and concise reports between shifts verbally and written shift report and provide hand off communication between shifts and disciplines with each shift.
  • Will orient new employees in order to familiarize the employee to a specific treatment program and be a role model for both staff and patients.
  • Minimum Requirements : Eligible to be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
