Your Opportunity

As a senior contributor on our professional consulting services team is to work independently on large projects of high complexity, and as a leader of a team or project through all phases of a project lifecycle.

You are responsible for developing and implementing an engineering discipline group equipped with up-to-date engineering and design tools and innovations, technical and supervisory capabilities and operating procedures to successfully and efficiently execute projects and consulting services resulting in client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

Execution of pipeline engineering scope for assigned projects

Perform pipeline hydraulic studies and preparation of hydraulic study reports

Prepare pipeline alignment & crossing engineering drawing content and professional sealing of such drawings

Review and approval of final pipeline routing analysis report

Prepare and approve content of pipeline equipment specifications, particularly for Design Basis Memoranda

Participate in facility hazard review and analysis

Review pipeline hydraulic studies and related facilities P&IDs

Preparation of equipment specifications, cost estimates, drawings, reports relating to pipeline engineering

Review equipment technical bid submissions

Demonstrated awareness of safety in the design, construction, and operation of pipelines

Development of project scopes, execution plans, cost estimates, and project schedules

Coordinate project pipeline engineering team; liaise with project pipeline drafting team

Coordinate pipeline group activities with other project disciplines

Ensure compliance with project plan and procedures

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Expert level understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.

Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production.

Mentoring and professional development of other personnel

Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule.

Participates and collaborates in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.

Demonstrates creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving problems

Thorough understanding of engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others.

Lead engineering role in projects with significant capital budgets

Strong presentation and interview skills.

Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering & Licensed Professional Engineer. Minimum of 10 years of pipeline design experience;
  • 5 years of consulting engineering experience.

    Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
