About the role

We are currently looking for a Java Web developer to join our team on a won government contract. The developer will be tasked with designing and developing Java based web applications, creating application models, methods and tools that allow users to easily develop and integrate their projects into existing contexts (web or desktop), analyzing functional requirements and document components, analyzing system specifications, ensuring the applications meet CLF and WCAG 2.

0 accessibility guidelines etc.

The qualifications

  • Enhanced Reliability security clearance
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of Java coding experience utilizing the J2EE platform.
  • Minimum of 3 years programming experience with Eclipse.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience coding web applications to comply with the government web standards (W3C WCAG 2.0 (A and AA)).
  • Demonstrated experience with
  • oStruts (1.0 or higher)

    oCoding in PL / SQL (10 years)

    oDeveloping Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

    oMinimum of 2 years of experience with Oracle Portal

    oHTML5 & XML

    oCommon Look and Feel (CLF2) Government of Canada Web Standards.

    oCanada Web toolkit (WET4) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
