Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will manage culture and change via a team of talented HR business partners. You will serve as a culture champion and will work with senior leadership to ensure the growth and development of a company culture that allows employees to thrive and do their best work.

You will be integral to guiding the firm to accomplish its vision of growth. This position will lead, develop, and carry out HR programs, and participate in the company’s strategic planning initiatives, projects, and challenges.

You will solve complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done.

Foster an environment of learning and growth by developing and implementing training, professional / career development, talent retention and succession programs.

Align and enhance company culture and communication to support the company’s vision and values.Serve as a strategic business partner in driving HR and talent solutions across the organization.

Additionally, you will oversee and participate in HR objectives and initiatives.

Coach managers on talent strategy, recruitment and employee relations issues.

Oversee and develop best practices in the management of employee benefits programs and provide oversight of HR information systems.

Promote the company’s commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Proactively update and develop policies that adapt to changing organizational needs

Lead the HR team, leverage their skills and talents, and provide feedback, guidance, and growth opportunities. Partner with HR team members to guide and improve talent strategy, onboarding, performance reviews, retention, wellness, and other programs.

Team with legal counsel / risk management, safety, accounting / finance, and other stakeholders on various HR issues, programs and initiatives.

General Qualifications

Successful candidates will have demonstrated relevant expertise and experience. You will bring HR transactional, operational, and strategic skills, along with proven coaching and mentoring skills.

You will have a strong foundation in all HR functions, and experience providing HR services and support in a decentralized environment.

Specific Qualifications :

A key aspect of this role will be leading and continue to build a develop a team of talent business partners to support these organizations.

At least ten years of progressively responsible HR management experience.

Experience in a financial services environment is a must have

Demonstrated skills in the development and implementation of effective training programs, including the ability to lead and train groups.

  • Partner with business leaders to help them build and develop their people and organizations.
  • Coach business leaders on how to lead their teams, navigate and resolve employee relations issues or manage programs that help develop our people.
  • Demonstrate your exceptional talents and experience at putting the people first and being as clear and transparent as possible in helping others understand how people decisions get made.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people related strategy and execution.
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond People and Culture solutions.
  • Empower managers to build and foster great teams.
  • You are an expert in the following areas : career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
  • You’re capable of flying high and being a strategic player in one breath and flying low and diving deep the next.
