The Team Lead Business Analyst manages the IT Workflow Business Analyst team and partners with the sectors / functions to ensure that there is an IT alignment with their business requirements.
The Team Lead manages demands and priorities to ensure sectors / functions’ IT requirements are met and gives direction to the IT Business Analysts.
Role and responsibilities
Build relationship with the business to understand business requirements and evaluate quality of vendor execution of IT solutions
Build and maintain relationship with vendor to ensure service and standard of quality for IT solutions are met and insure issues are resolved quickly when identified.
Ensure the vendors’ proposals and technology meet business needs and requirement.
Meet on a regular basis with the vendor to follow on current activities, review service delivery and resolve any issues
Manage escalation process to Director if unable to resolve issues with vendor
Manage request from sectors for new Workflow Solutions and builds the roadmap for requests and deliveries
Manages flow of request coming from the business and workload of the IT Business Analysts team
Manage budget and cost of project and is responsible to approve cost for propose solutions
Manage the IT Business Analysts team by setting objectives, managing performance, identifying growth opportunities for each team member and support individuals in their development and growth within the GIT organization
Create a motivating and engaging work environment for the IT Business Analyst team
7 to 10 years of experience in the information technology field
Bachelor degree in information technology, engineering or related field
Experience in people and team management
Experience working with third party service provider
Experience in a global environment
Business and financial acumen
Communication skills, good listener
Capacity to function in a changing environment
Act as a change agent
Able to create an stimulating environment for direct reports
