Provide leadership in all aspects of manufacturing, product, technology, and general operations activities with foundry partner companies and factories.

Duties include yield improvement, scrap prevention, assisting Innovation in process and integration development, quality control, and WIP management.

Selected candidate will work with Planning, Quality, Innovation, and Business groups to drive foundry operations performance in product yield, excursion control, capacity alignment to demand, and On-Time-Delivery (OTD).

Responsibilities include :

  • Maintaining world-class chip / unit probe product yield performance
  • Drive collaboration efforts between Innovation and the foundries
  • Drive collaboration efforts between business groups and the foundries
  • Assuring product quality through preventative and reactive activities with the foundries
  • Participating in and / or leading cross-functional teams
  • Providing leadership to the foundry operations team as a whole in achieving Foundry Operations defined goals
  • Education & Experience :

  • BS in an Engineering discipline is preferred. Degrees in Applied Sciences (Chemistry / Physics / Materials Science) or Mathematics may also be considered
  • Minimum of 8 years of semiconductor-related work experience in Process or Device Engineering
  • Strong background in Semiconductor Device and Process Engineering will be a significant consideration for this position
  • Detailed understanding of semiconductor processing
  • Knowledge of microprocessor / microcontroller product performance and operation is a plus
  • Knowledge of chip / unit probe and test methodologies is a plus
  • Previous leadership experience is a plus
  • Foreign language abilities is a plus

  • Ability to plan strategically as well as execute on tactical day-to-day activities
  • Ability to travel internationally (international travel may be required 2- 4 times per year)
  • Ability to effectively manage an urgent / crisis situation and drive a team to find quick solutions to line stop / line down problems
  • Flexibility to shift working hours to accommodate international conference calls and ability to work independently is required
  • Fluency in French language (oral and written) will be valuable
