QUALIFICATIONS :

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage distributor and customer relationships in assigned region.
  • Increase sales and profit margin in assigned region. Responsible to implement HYDAC Corporate Sales Strategy.

  • Effectively communicate market trends and product competitiveness to management. New business opportunities should also be communicated to Product Managers for review
  • Regular review, distribution and follow-up of HYDAC sales leads to assigned distributors.
  • Submit a monthly report to consist of target account updates, quotation feedback, and distributor updates and training.
  • Provide HYDAC Corporate with order status changes, forecast feedback, other significant information relating to major OEM accounts.
  • regular, Physical presence in all areas of the geograhical territory.
  • represent hydac on technical and commercial issues at oem's, distributors and engineering companies
  • W ork experience requirements

  • five years+ Experience with a HYDRAULIC distributor or sales position with a HYDRAULICS OEM.
  • E ducation requirements

  • Technical Degree or equivalent preferred. Will consider related experience and / or training.
  • SAFETY AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

  • Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
  • Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Development software; Internet software;
  • Project Management software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
