Primary Duties Include

  • Draft, prepare, organize and manage files (including drafting the statement of claim, motion records, affidavit of documents, settlement conference memorandums, pre-
  • trial / mediation memos, pleadings etc.)

  • Open and close files
  • Deal with authorizations, undertakings, discoveries and productions
  • Summarize discovery evidence, manage undertakings and refusals, prepare charts and summarize of documentary evidence for use on discovery and trial
  • Compile books of authorities and other briefs
  • Prepare materials for trials and appeals
  • Other general duties as required
  • Required Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury
  • Law Clerk Certification or Diploma
  • Working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Technical proficiency (MS Office applications)
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Must thrive under pressure and prioritize effectively while paying attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting
  • A sense of responsibility and respect for the confidentiality of information
