About the role :

We are seeking an Executive Assistant who will provide professional and confidential executive support to our Vice President of Broadband Implementation.

This individual will be easily approachable, dynamic, and proactive with exceptional organizational and communications skills.

As an Executive Assistant, you are multi-talented and wear all these hats with pride :

  • Administrative & Organizational Whiz : Anticipate the needs of the executive, ensuring they are in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasonsSupport by monitoring follow-
  • up activities, action items and materials in advance of meetingsProactively manage the calendar, including booking travel arrangementsProactively gather, co-

    ordinate and / or prepare the necessary information, materials (presentations, reports, etc.) and resources for meetings and eventsPrioritize and adjust priorities in a fast paced, changing environment with agile efficiencyEnsure the proper management and approval of individual and corporate expenses, and manage budget reports as requiredManage the budget requirements for the team, meet regularly with the budget primes to make decisions for accruing and triaging as required

  • Outstanding organizational skills with obsessive attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong judgement skills and unwavering commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Initiative and ability to anticipate needs and provide solutions / options, particularly when confronted with ambiguity and a high degree of change
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive management as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Thrive on learning new things : processes, systems, concepts, ideas, topics, etc
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools
  • Flexibility to be available outside of normal work hours to provide support on urgent matters or to meet tight deadlines
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting senior executives
  • Previous experience in an office administration function supporting senior leadership team members
  • Great-to-have

  • University degree would be an asset
