Our Public Sector client is seeking a results oriented professional with exceptional documentation skills to create tools, process maps, and guidelines for their Enterprise Project Management office (EPMO).
While working with a diverse team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will leverage your strong knowledge of EPMO tools, templates and processes to review, re-
write and implement new templates and new process guides. The incumbent will not be supporting PMs on current or upcoming projects.
Assess existing tools, templates and processes and recommend / create revisions to the existing templates and processes
Develop and implement Best Practices for project stakeholders to use and abide by
Coordinate project change requests through the Project Change Control Board
Support staff in the development of project proposals, business cases, charters, plans and budgets to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives
Ensure that all project documentation received in the EPMO is logged, tracked and filed appropriately
Govern the completion and approval of project artifacts to ensure compliance with EPMO requirements
Create and maintain an integrated road-map, noting cross impact / dependencies of multiple projects
Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the EPMO, and other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
A proven track record of creating EPMO templates and process guidelines for the purpose of implementing best practices, and new standards to assist the existing project management team
Advanced skills with Sharepoint for organizing (including archiving) documents
Demonstrated ability to refine PMO Governance to achieve efficiency gains for business owners
Knowledge of Information Management best practices
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to be flexible to changing demands while maintaining accuracy in dealing with complex project data
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills;
