The City of Abbotsford currently has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Fleet Services Coordinator in the Fleet Services Section of the Engineering and Regional Utilities Department.
This position involves supervisory work and coordination of the purchasing, outfitting, disposal, condition assessment, maintenance and / or repair of various fleet vehicles.
This includes emergency services vehicles such as fire engines and police cruisers.
The successful candidate will exercise considerable independence of judgement in the coordination and determination of other departments equipment needs and assist the Fleet Services (Manager) with preparing purchasing specifications for required equipment.
They will be responsible to coordinate outfitting work with in-house technicians and outside vendors and services by following departmental guidelines and budgetary limits.

This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $32.56 to $38.31 per hour.
