The Business Development Manager, has overall responsibility for the retention, growth and management of the customer’s existing revenue base.

The Business Development Manager will also focus on Winback opportunities to increase the annual revenue per account to $300K.

The incumbent is accountable for all revenue related activities associated with products, services, contracts, orders, billing, and sales proposals.

Accountabilities :

  • Responsible for the attainment of Revenue and Profit Objectives :
  • Target / Winback accounts that had prior billing over $300K.
  • Outside / Face to face customer interaction in order to develop and maintain key client relationships 2-3 days per week, 4 clients a week
  • Prospects and qualifies new and recurring business opportunities
  • Focus on Business development and opportunity creation in whitespace
  • Strong Business sense and presentation skills
  • Must present Bell Digital roadmap to 20% of their accounts
  • Leads development of account plan and TAS Reviews taking into consideration marketing strategy and Customer business objectives Expectations 2-4 Account plans Annually Quarterly TAS reviews
  • Develop and manage relationships at all levels of Enterprise Account
  • Work autonomously and have strong funnel management skills
  • Rep will focus on complex solutions (covering the full Bell Suite of products)
  • Ownership of Run Rate, and new revenue growth objectives
  • Winback accounts that had prior billing over $300K.
  • Co-ordinate unsolicited proposal and RFP deliverables
  • Develops strategies and tactics which leverage competitive advantage and profitability :
  • Develops and presents proposals including cost justification, business case and technical portion of response for integrated solutions which represent high value for the Customer and profit for the company
  • Leads the creation of Customer offer process (internal business case) and manages approval steps
  • Leading and negotiating revenue opportunities for all service elements (such as SLA’s, DRP, Mtnce, etc.) working with Service Management
  • Responsible for engaging and supporting the Sales Specialists for new business development opportunities
  • Aids clients in planning their ICT and systems integration strategies / tactics
  • Acts as the authority for overall Customer network solutions and is the primary technical point of contact for the Customer
  • Advocate within Bell to drive support and development opportunities align with customer’s business requirements
  • Rep will focus on complex solutions (covering the full Bell Suite of products)
  • Spends the appropriate amount of time continuously learning by researching and learning new technologies, both internally and externally, to provide single point of contact to the Customer in the sales process
  • Critical Qualifications / Competencies :

  • University degree preferred
  • Post graduate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in the Telecommunications or ICT industry selling technical Customer solutions
  • Ability to prospect and identify opportunities while developing strong Customer relationships
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Demonstrated strength in understanding and influencing team dynamics vision and full grasp of business issues

    Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
