If fresh thinking and a passion to win inspire you, come Unleash Your Power at Kimberly-Clark. SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Senior Associate Brand Manager is accountable for the in-year delivery of brand objectives for assigned brands.

They execute brand operating plans, all commercial programs and manage the delivery of annual business objectives for their brands.

The SABM proposes, develops, implements and evaluates marketing plans, including product promotion to drive brand awareness and product demand and generate market and channel traffic.

ORGANIZATION : This position reports into the Senior Brand Manager of the sector they work on. Key stakeholders include brand, sector, and business unit management, agency and media partners, global marketing capabilities, and local customer development teams. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Drives the delivery of business objectives for the brand including net sales, operating profit, gross margin, and market share.
  • Leads development & execution of Brand Operating Plans, Commercial Programs, and Shopper Marketing (omni-channel, eCommerce etc) at customers for assigned brands.
  • Supports the development of the 3-year Brand Operating Plan, commercial programs and annual plan delivery.
  • Lead engagement with sales strategy & customer teams to understand annual Joint Business Partnership priorities, strategies, & customer marketing programs.
  • Lead advertising Post program analysis, adjusting Shopper Marketing strategies and solutions, optimize ROI on dollars spent as necessary to ensure business objectives are delivered and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Serves as the key contact for all advertising / integrated marketing agency relationships.
  • Effectively manages A&CP, Shopper Marketing and Trade budgets for assigned brands.
  • Supports appropriate market research to understand customer needs and trends in the market.
  • Supports and executes on line extensions and new products to better serve segment needs and optimize sales potential.
  • Analyzes & creates sales reports to understand product segment potential and profitability and to track progress against marketing plan initiatives and return on investment analysis for marketing programs.
  • Executes strategic category and brand learning plan needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education; Experience & Critical Skills / Competencies) :
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience in CPG.
  • Demonstrated success in the development and execution of marketing plans that deliver sales, profit and market share growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive insights and action from data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, decision making, influence, communication & presentation skills.
  • Able to influence, inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Ability to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track.
  • Passionate about driving brand growth by better meeting consumer needs.
  • Demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent brand internally and externally.
  • Motivated by challenges and a robust sense of curiosity.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects within required timeframes.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization driving collaboration across functions, geographies and businesses.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated use of data access tools (Nielsen Answers Desktop), key data sources (Nielsen Market track, Homescan Panel, etc.
  • and advanced PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Graduate degree in Marketing / Business Administration or MBA.
  • Profit and loss management experience with global consumer packaged goods companies.
  • Strong digital, social, and eCommerce marketing execution experience.
  • Project leadership (medium to large-scaled projects).
  • Experience with new consumer product development and launch.
  • Supporting organizational change and influencing at the managerial and / or executive level.
