    The Role

    Responsible for integration, transformation, and delivery of data to the primary reporting and analysis tools. Expected to take on complex and high profile projects.

    Understand business processes and enterprise analysis responsibilities. Act as primary liaison and support business partners to ensure consistent progression and effective communication.

    This role provides supports on the systems used by the predominantly Omaha,US based BSA / AML team. These systems include, but not limited to, Actimize, CTR and SAM ERCM products.

    Essential Job Functions

  • Advises business team members to define business needs through utilization to effective data gathering techniques, esp in the BSA / AML field.
  • Responsible for effective communication to all business partners and users to ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to upgrades / implementation.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the BSA / AML team in Omaha in the event of any system issues and provide quick resolution to business users if they encounter any technical difficulties.
  • Provide Production Support for installs and outrages.
  • Work independently with users to define business needs under direction of project managers assigned to projects.
  • Advises on the planning and implementation of projects and strategic initiatives for the US-based BSA / AML systems.
  • Drives business team members to define business needs through utilization of effective data gathering techniques.
  • Strong Actimize, ERCM, CTR knowledge needed.
  • Evaluates data gathered from multiple sources, reconciles differences, and ensures consistent data interpretation are met and result measurements are implemented.
  • Reviews, drafts, and outlines business requirements, understand impacts of system upgrades, patches and schedules releases on business operations and provide guidance to BSA / AML teams in US.
  • Assists in the development and documentation of business requirements and / or business solutions to solve problems and issues related to business operations.
  • Examines various relevant data sources and applies consistent approaches to data interpretation and performance measurement results.
  • In coordination with business partners and users, assists to ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to implementation.
  • Ensures project dependencies are clearly defined, documented and communicated appropriately in terms of time required to complete.
  • Business Analysis (requirements and business interface) determining requirements by performing analysis of processes or data.
  • Working with IT to implement any updates, enhancements, new processes or workflow for the applications.
  • Training and Education of new features conduct training to business users on any new features / updates / changes of the application
  • Help with vendor management : Communicate with vendor for upgrades / updates, determine timing
  • Perform QA Testing for any enhancements, documenting requirements and following PMO methodology as implemented by PMs and coordinate UAT activities with business owner and users.
  • Will be expected to liaise with the business, development team and technology on most BSA / AML projects. These teams will be based internationally.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
  • Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
  • Other Job Duties

  • Capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to write user stories, manage scrum calls, and prioritize backlog.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Developers to compose requirements.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and the project team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • 5 - 8 years’ experience working with any NICE tools.
  • May have some practical knowledge of project management and strong BA experience in the BSA field.
  • CAMS certification a huge plus.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in of software development and implementation
  • Knowledge of Agile processes
  • Provide hands on experience with implementing Actimize Solutions
  • Understanding of Actimize workflows, UI and technical specification
  • Able to simplify messaging / executive messaging for management
  • Experience with PowerPoint and reporting tools for monthly rpts
  • Good understanding of BSA systems applications within the banking industry.
  • Knowledge of BSA / AML processes and operations a plus
  • Knowledge of Banking applications and processes a plus
  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
