What you’ll do
Use specialized knowledge of executive compensation principles and practices to support the design, redesign, review or implementation of executive compensation plans, programs and policies for senior leaders and board members across the organization.
Provide superior critical thinking, analysis and thought leadership in the development of Board of Director and executive compensation programs by creating analysis, presenting findings, making strategic recommendations, developing Management Resources and Compensation Committee (MRCC) and Board reports, tools, resources and communications materials.
Accountable to lead executive compensation projects (i.e. biennial review, plan design reviews, etc), and large-scale, complex processes (i.
e. annual incentive plan allocation and payout processes, share ownership guideline review etc.), making recommendations on opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring alignment across the enterprise.
Support the Manager to ensure policy governance and overall alignment of executive compensation and Board compensation programs with the MRCC Mandate.
Support all aspects of ensuring the effective delivery of the executive & Trustee compensation related items for CT REIT’s Board and Governance, Compensation & Nominating Committee.
Support the development of the annual Management Information Circulars for CTC and CT REIT. Analyze feedback and findings from proxy advisory firms and summarize commentary / results to SVP, Talent and MRCC Chair.

What you’ve done
4-7 years’ experience in compensation and / or executive compensation, in addition to other areas of HR
University degree in a related field (Business, HR)
Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Deep analytical capability with advanced spreadsheet skills and strong attention to detail
Exceptional ability to deliver results, multi-task and work in an environment with multiple deadlines
Experience managing projects and executing processes and ensuring compliance with policy, legal and administrative requirements
Ability to deal with highly personal and confidential information with sensitivity, tact and confidentiality
