GENERAL INFORMATION : Position Classification : Location : Edmonton, ABDepartment : ManagementSupervisor : Chief Operations Officer GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : The Restoration Manager will be responsible for responding to property damage-related inquiries from our clients and ensure timely resolution and restoration of their spaces.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator, have extensive restoration contracting experience, a robust industry network, and be a proactive planner to deal with unique and challenging project requirements.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop the project requirements, cost estimates, project plan and budget.Negotiation and awarding of contracts.
Select key personnel and subcontractors for the project.Monitor, control and report on progress, costs and budget throughout the project.
Maintain good working relationships and communications between owners, contractors, sub-trades and project staff.Resolve disputes, negotiate change orders, and communicate decisions to owners, sub-contractors and management personnel.
Be available to respond to 24 hour emergency restoration and mitigation calls during on call statusProvide work direction and coaching to assigned field engineering and project staff.
Develop long range goals both personally and for support staff.Provides performance feedback to project staff and / or sub-trades.
Communicate and enforce company safety standards and operating practices. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS : This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS : Education / Training : Diploma in Construction Engineering or related disciplineIICRC certifications such as Water Damage Restoration Technician Experience : A minimum 5 years in restoration contracting.
