We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who has the Hospitality Gene and Administrative / Franchise experience to join us as a Franchise Coordinator within our Home Office in Vaughan.
The purpose of the Franchise Coordinator role is to support the Franchising Team in the administration of all aspects of the Franchise process, including communications with Franchisees and potential Franchisees, handling confidential information with all stakeholders (internal and external), follow up with various departments for outstanding issues, and various reporting metrics.
What you will do in this role :
Handle some preliminary inquiries from potential franchisees, and communicate the franchise process, financial requirements, and describing certain franchising opportunities.
Facilitates the preparation of disclosure documents and franchise agreements with franchising legal. Links with key departments such as real estate to gather required information.
Follows up with franchisees to gather required documentation, such as articles of incorporation.
Coordination with finance regarding collection of incoming franchisee funds and ensuring correct allocation and balances are collected within appropriate time frame.
Follows up on the return of franchise documentation sent to franchisees, and ensures franchising team and development team are up to speed with status of franchise documents.
Coordinates the progression of franchise candidates through the interview process, approval meeting, and on-the-job evaluation.
Provides support in the execution of franchise marketing initiatives including public relations, advertising, websites, directories, site signage and trade shows (some participation in trade shows required).
Records, updates and maintains candidate information in franchising database.
Manage department budget and proper allocation of invoice processing with finance.
Prepares required reports on status of various franchising initiatives.
Supports the franchising team with various administrative tasks, such as booking travel, preparing franchise approval letters, and arranging meetings.

Advanced organizational and administrative skills.
Attention to detail and able to find solutions to various inquiries
Must be a self starter and at times task orientated.
Ability to work independently under general supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and written / communication in order to effectively deal with franchise candidates.
University Degree or College Diploma required, preferably in business.
Previous experience in a franchising environment is an asset.
Ability to multi task in a high volume, multi project environment supporting several other Team Members.
