Under the Account General Manager and in collaboration with the account team for the Canadian Federal Market, the position is responsible for supporting and helping develop the growth of this very strategic marketplace.

You will work in collaboration with the local Federal Government Account team and ensure all required sales activities are accomplished and leveraging of our partner community to empower our success.

The role requires a motivated sales person with desire to learn at a rapid pace and help Federal team in developing a successful sales program and achieving sales objectives.

More specifically :

  • Administers and maintains sales operational systems and processes to provide content, data and information management in support of sales pursuits.
  • Implements and configures sales tools, content management and tracking systems.
  • Develops and manages catalog and web-based content, web pages and other online sources for storing and communicating information for sales and partners.
  • Enters, updates and ensures accuracy of data in sales and client and partner relationship management systems generates regular and ad hoc reports for account teams and leadership.
  • Advises on improvements and enhancements for design of sales systems and tools.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Administers, configures, updates and maintains portions of systems for support, including sales tools, catalog management, websites, online content, partner Web portal content, and data management, for a customer segment or business unit
  • Reviews information and makes changes and updates to data and configuration of tools, online resources and systems within limited parameters
  • Produces and analyzes reports and assessment results to identify trends and issues, perform root-cause analysis for failures and data issues, develop recommendations for resolution and track effectiveness of remedies
  • Communicates issues to stakeholders
  • Implements specified changes to data, content and systems to improve data quality, operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • This is generally a non-customer facing role responsible for performing general and specific tasks related to the effective execution and support of the end to end sales cycle processes.
  • This includes data entry and organization of customer information, updating sales opportunity data, maintaining records and documentation, researching information and coordinating work via pre-

    defined processes. Interfaces with internal stakeholders and partners to communicate status or resolve issues arising during or after the sales cycles.

    Additional Responsibilities

  • Proactively work on customers and partner requirements as it relates to HPE products and services quotes and pricing.
  • Assist in meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue and margin quotas and metrics for the Canadian Federal Market.
  • Participate in customer and / or partner events
  • Exhibits expert knowledge of HPE portfolio and industry trend via customer interaction, management coaching and technical certifications.
  • Assessing competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrates a successful ability to leverage HPE's portfolio of products and services to change the playing field against our competition.
  • Works in conjunction with technical resources like Field Sales, Solution Architect’s, sales and pre-sales team to move opportunities from end-to-end in sales cycle.
  • Builds and maintains solid customer relations that protect or expand HPE’s Installed base.
  • Assist in pipeline and forecast management in accordance with sales center business process in Salesforce
  • Execute opportunity and lead management while uncovering opportunities that drive incremental revenue.
  • Seeks out appropriate resources in presales, product / service specialists to support complex deals.
  • Nurtures and closes new opportunities that result in substantial incremental orders, revenue and margins to HPE, representing the entire HPE portfolio of products and services.
  • Listen to customer needs and tailor messages to customers based on their needs and tie in promotional campaigns, upgrades, or extended products / services where applicable in collaboration with sales team.
  • Keen to be a student of the business and consistently up to date with the latest trends, changes and challenges in the IT industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Typically 1-5 years’ experience in related field
  • Excellent proficiency in English , French is a plus.
  • Experience administering and maintaining sales tools, systems and online resources
  • Ability to apply analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of business and sales processes and practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform in high pressure environment.
  • Detail oriented and master of priority management.
  • Outstanding verbal (including telephone) and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates fundamental understanding of information management systems.
  • Possesses a knowledge of databases and reporting application systems.
  • Excellent PC Computer proficiency, particularly in the Microsoft suite of applications, and in Microsoft Excel.
  • Understands the importance of data accuracy and how it can impact sales decisions.
  • Demonstrated organization, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
