Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have :
8+ years working with enterprise-level information technology showing progression through more technical roles
2+ years’ experience working on the salesforce.com platform, specifically with salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) experience
Able to translate business requirements into technical design specification
Strong functional knowledge of order management, QTC, configuration, pricing and quoting functionality
Deep understanding of sales business processes
Experience with commerce, configuration, output, SFDC integration, product catalog / price list integration
What You Will Be Doing
Lead / facilitate design and modeling sessions with the client.
Work closely with business leaders, process owners to gather business requirements
Provide CPQ solutions alternatives to business and suggest solutions that have optimized and efficient ROI.
Translates CPQ business requirements to technical specification.
Understand, design, supervise, and create technical configurations using configuration product’s tools, languages scripts based technologies (BMI, Java, BML, middleware).
Design, implement, and test leading-edge Quote and Product Configuration integrations with salesforce.com.
Create robust large-scale production applications.
Create prototypes quickly and re-architect them for production readiness.
Lead the creation of project deliverables, spanning from process to system design elements with an emphasis on functional and technical design.
If needed, coordinate developer tasks on large projects; lead design and code reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Provides guidance on all phases of software development lifecycle and the impact of CPQ.
Support testing and root cause analysis, and provides lessons learned.
Mentor junior staff.
Function as CPQ subject matter expert during presales and delivery of consulting engagement
