What is the Opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of account activities in Investment Counsellor Services (ICS), providing timely, efficient, and accurate administration to ensure service level standards are met.

We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills, and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-

paced environment. This role is currently located in Toronto with the potential of being relocated to our Meadowvale office.

What Will You Do?

  • Responsible for transition of new accounts and assets transfers using various systems including Trust, ATON and ACT
  • Ensure timely and effective escalation to the manager to avoid delays regarding deliveries and to ensure correctness and high service quality
  • Deliver efficient, accurate and timely administration on ICS Accounts ensuring that Service-Level-Standards are maintained or exceeded with respect to processing activities
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with external auditors and tax representatives
  • Responsible for sound management of initiatives and tax advisory requirements
  • Manage new initiatives independently while working under pressure to meet deadlines and Service-Level-Standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting demands according to the immediate needs of the business
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must-Have :

  • Undergraduate university degree or comparable education in business related field
  • Sound knowledge of financial instruments in the banking and financial sectors
  • Highly organized, flexible, and a self-started able to work independently
  • Excellent analytical skills, accuracy and accountability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel
  • Nice-to-Have :

  • Canadian Securities Course considered an asset
  • Previous Corporate Banking experience
  • Previous Client Service Experience
