Do you have a curiosity for solving cross-border tax problems and continuous learning? The Deloitte Tax team is growing its US and cross-border personal tax practice and is looking for professionals who want a challenging and rewarding career.
What will your typical day look like?
In this role, you will liaise with local, regional, national and global Deloitte colleagues to provide advisory and project support to our clients.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities to contribute to the development of the practice.
You will actively mentor and coach junior team members to execute projects with accuracy and completeness and help them achieve their highest potential.
About the team
This is a national team that works with high profile clients specifically, high net worth individuals and their families both in Canada and globally.
As a leader on this team you will focus on Canadian and US tax compliance and advisory work and be exposed to cross-border and multi-jurisdictional income tax compliance, transactions, planning, and estate planning.

You are someone who :
Has minimum of 6 or more years of tax experience in a Public Accounting Firm
Has a Canadian CPA, US CPA or foreign designation; Master's degree in Tax is an asset; Completion of the In-depth Tax Course is an asset
Excellent quantitative and research skills
experience working with professional athletes is an asset
Ability to anticipate the long-term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving
