Your day to day

You will be a key driver of internal and external revenue generation data analysis, leads cross functional decision making of sound, tactical and strategic initiatives.

In conjunction with the IHG Revenue team, you will :

  • Manage stakeholders - identify requirements and outline framework for meetings, communications, engagement and alignment.
  • Promote a collaborative environment between hotel and IHG Revenue.
  • Accurately forecast demand and price accordingly; to maximise hotel revenues, achieve superior performance in comparison to the competitive set as measured in RGI and as against budget growth targets.
  • Provide direction to the hotel team and ensure execution of effective strategies and actions for total revenue management, pricing, yield management, forecasting and more
  • Proactively manage key relationships with GM, Conference & Events, Sales team, IHG National and Global Matrix, and other IHG hotels to ensure alignment across the region.
  • Support the Portfolio Revenue Managers to deliver weekly yield meetings, monthly rest of year forecast sign off meetings and monthly Revenue Generation meetings with key hotel stakeholders to ensure consistent focus and optimising performance.
  • Ensure forecasting accuracy for all market segments with focus on RevPAR however not limited

    What we need from you

  • Reporting and research is your specialty and passion!
  • Bachelor's Degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in hospitality or related field
  • 3+ years total experience in a Reservations / Yield Management environment
  • Management system experience in Opera preferred
  • Proven knowledge of Revenue Management Software Systems like Optims, Ideas, Rate360
  • Demonstrated analytical skills - in-depth knowledge of reporting
  • Intimate knowledge of Central Reservations System (Concerto / Trust / Marsha etc), Property
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
