As our Business Architect, you will be working with Traction's customers to align strategic goals and objectives with key decisions regarding Salesforce.

com, Cloud products and services. You will be managing and delivering components of customer engagements that include analysis of current state business process and technology, process and functional design, future state prototyping and, working alongside the Technical Architect, in understanding the architecture for Salesforce.com.

As the Business Architect, you will also help design and deploy solutions that support customer business processes and requirements using Salesforce.com Cloud applications.

In addition to these responsibilities, your role is to help ensure successful client projects and programs by proactively managing client executive relationships and aligning team goals / schedules / activities to the client's objectives.

Skills

Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have :

  • 10+ years experience in the CRM / ERM consulting space with a focus on driving client business strategy
  • Strong depth in project and program management, detail orientation
  • Ability to support solution sales to clients and have strong understanding of sales processes and best practices
  • Ability to lead and drive business solution engagements, align with Executive stakeholders on strategy road map, and provide guidance on current project / program
  • Excellent written / verbal skills, ability to manage executive relationships
  • Ability to travel to clients
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members and provide constructive guidance where necessary
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work at all levels of an organization effectively
  • Experience being responsible for successful enterprise technical transformation programs
  • Strong presentation skills
  • What You Will Be Doing

  • Establish relationships with client executive sponsors and manage those relationships through Traction engagements. Periodically review schedule, budgets, scope and other key success factors with them.
  • Facilitate communication across client, salesforce.com and Traction teams to ensure alignment
  • Recognize risks and work with team members to mitigate them prior to customer impacts, wherever possible.
  • Manage escalations when they occur
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and work with Business Development to close them
  • Address customer issues / escalations quickly, maintaining customer confidence
  • Communicate and negotiate change orders, help resolve billing / payment issues
  • Support the development and maintenance of project / program plans - ensure various executive constituents of the plan are kept informed of progress and plan changes
  • Facilitate executive steering committee meetings. (Lead and drive format if possible)
  • Become a trusted counsel for the customer while maintaining solid relationships with project team members.
  • Assist with sales presentations to become introduced to new clients as early in the process as possible.
  • Review team deliverables, where appropriate, to ensure they meet client needs.
  • Ability to facilitate Business Solution Design sessions, supported by key team members.

  • Client satisfaction, # of project escalations, # of Red projects, reference-ability
  • Project profitability - efficiency, effective resource usage, effective rate
