This is a unique opportunity for an accounts payable clerk seeking a better quality of life, while tackling new challenges in a growing sector.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in maximizing payment discounts, reducing commercial losses and optimizing related processes.
The successful candidate will work with the company to determine effective solutions to solve disputed debts.
Section A Specific responsibilities
More specifically, your tasks will be the following :
Verify and reconcile suppliers’ statements of account.
Verify, follow up on and resolve all transaction discrepancies.
Resolve all disputed items with suppliers.
Maintain communication with internal and external customers.
Enter and consolidate pending transactions for account statements being processed.
Perform all other tasks related to this position.
Prepare various reports and reconciliations.
You will ensure that :
Suppliers' invoices are processed in accordance with set schedules.
SOX procedures and policies are followed.
Section C Job requirements
College degree (DEC) in administration, with a concentration in finance and / or three (3) years of experience in an accounts payable department
Advanced spoken and written French and English
Familiar with Microsoft Office (intermediate Access and Excel), SAP and AS400
Able to work independently or as part of a team, according to deadlines
