Outline of duties :

The Project Management System Coordinator is the Planview administrator (project management system). Therefore, the incumbent ensures the proper functioning of the system and is the users’ contact person on both the technical and functional levels.

More specifically, the incumbent will be called to :

  • Provide primary support to the entire user community and follow up on escalated incidents at Planview;
  • Participate actively in problem-solving, ensure quality control of measures taken and simplified implementation;
  • Perform updates, monitor new material developed by Planview and recommend its use when said material proves to be an asset to the organization;
  • Be in charge of the creation of access;
  • Develop reference material;
  • Coordinate training related to Planview modules and train their users;
  • Ensure compliance of the data and system, in line with the business process;
  • Support the system deployment phases (project management, schedule management, budget planning, etc.) as well as the new functions and modules deployment;
  • Follow up on licence management;
  • Review surveillance reports and perform recommended corrections to keep the system operational;
  • Develop new reports and dashboards and ensure that reports produced by the system are valid and compliant;
  • Communicate all changes to the Planview user community
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, project management or related field; a master’s degree would be an asset;
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position;
  • Computer systems expertise;
  • PMI certification is an asset;
  • Working knowledge of Planview is an asset;
  • Strong presentation, verbal (clear explanations) and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
