Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst is responsible for providing management with useful and accurate financial analytics information on a timely basis.
The successful teammate will work in a fast-paced environment where he / she will be exposed to multiple project experiences and can readily switch gears to a new direction.
The Analyst will have an inquisitive nature with the skills needed to tackle finance, marketing, and operations initiatives.
Partners with and provides detailed quantitative analysis, modeling, presentation development and guidance to finance, sales and operations.
Provide commercial and market analytics to senior management.
Produces periodic financial and operating reports and analyzes operating results against budget and performance metrics to reveal trends, correlations, dependencies and gain other insights.
Assists in preparing financial forecast and annual corporate plans, modeling scenarios and other ad-hoc financial analysis.
Leverage existing financial tools to support team in making recommendations to solve business problems.
Prepares monthly reporting for management and external parties.
University Degree - Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related fields
Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
2+ years of experience in accounting, forecasting, analyst role
Excellent verbal, written communication and visual presentation skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Takes initiative, establishes priorities and meets tight deadlines
Works well within a team as well as independently with limited direction
Experience in marketing analysis and reporting is an asset
