SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst is responsible for providing management with useful and accurate financial analytics information on a timely basis.

The successful teammate will work in a fast-paced environment where he / she will be exposed to multiple project experiences and can readily switch gears to a new direction.

The Analyst will have an inquisitive nature with the skills needed to tackle finance, marketing, and operations initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Partners with and provides detailed quantitative analysis, modeling, presentation development and guidance to finance, sales and operations.
  • Provide commercial and market analytics to senior management.
  • Produces periodic financial and operating reports and analyzes operating results against budget and performance metrics to reveal trends, correlations, dependencies and gain other insights.
  • Assists in preparing financial forecast and annual corporate plans, modeling scenarios and other ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Leverage existing financial tools to support team in making recommendations to solve business problems.
  • Prepares monthly reporting for management and external parties.
  • Qualifications :

  • University Degree - Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related fields
  • Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, forecasting, analyst role
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and visual presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Takes initiative, establishes priorities and meets tight deadlines
  • Works well within a team as well as independently with limited direction
  • Experience in marketing analysis and reporting is an asset
