Respond to price verification requests and collect products for cashiers;
Ask customers if they have reusable bags;
Separately package products that could contaminate other products;
Pack strategically in order to distribute the weight well, group products of the same nature, avoid cross-contamination and ensure that the products remain intact;
Empty and clean the deposit machine for cans and bottles, transport the returnable bottles to the back of the store and sort them;
Apply home delivery purchase orders to avoid mixing them up;
Return products left at the checkout in the respective departments (priority to fresh products);
Collect the baskets left at the cash desks and in the parking lot;
Fill the cash register with supplies : plastic bags, reusable bags, printer rolls, towel rolls, disinfectants and cleaning scales;
Paste company stickers on paid products as needed;
Train new packers assigned by the cashier manager;
Replenish the shelves with treats and perform other assigned tasks according to the time available;
Provide assistance to senior customers or customers who have difficulty lifting and transporting products;
Respect the daily tasks assigned by the manager or assistant manager of the cash register (cleaning the bistro, changing garbage bags, returns, etc.;
Keep all displays in the checkout section clean, neat and uncluttered;
Rotate items in accordance with store policy and product date codes and remove any item whose expiration date has passed;
Make sure the department is ready to serve customers when the store opens;
Keep the reception area clean and unobstructed as much as possible to give customers a good image of the store and facilitate exit (front row shelves, aisles between checkouts);
Treat damaged or deteriorated products. Reclassify to shelf in accordance with company policy and return damaged products to the return section;
Regularly clean and disinfect the checkout mat and empty the bins (checkouts, bistro and outside).
Follow all food safety procedures in accordance with store and department requirements;
Apply and respect the instructions on health and safety at work as well as hygiene standards;
Perform all other related tasks required by his superior.
Respect the dress code and personal hygiene;
Punch on entry, exit and for breaks under penalty of sanction;

The security system at the checkout :
a) Make sure to close the cash registers with a chain during the absence of cashiers.
b) Ensure that customers' bags are securely closed when their purchases are completed;
c) Always position yourself in front of customers;
d) Monitor customers to prevent theft of goods.
Customer relations :
a) Greet customers and always stay tuned;
b) Transmit customer complaints to the manager;
c) Thank customers by wishing them a nice day by inviting them to come back;
d) Be discreet, attentive and know how to express oneself clearly and distinctly in the various official languages;
e) Treat all customers with courtesy.
