Who are you?

We are seeking a leader to join our Technology Team and direct our Enterprise Business Systems Team. In this role, you will be working directly with each of our businesses to understand their technology needs in order to devise the optimal vision.

To enable our employees to do their best work, we will be exploring, evaluating and selecting new and innovative technologies, while continuing to build our own state-of-the-art platform.

You are not afraid of change and serve as a change agent. You will explore ideas and are always driving forward rather than settling for the status quo.

You’ve worked in fast-paced environments and understand how to juggle big-picture thinking with day-to-day deliverables.

You can architect big picture technology platforms and work with a team to implement them. You are respectful of current operating processes but look to develop new ideas to bring better results.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for the systems that our business lines rely on every day, and the people who look after them. We are always looking to improve our systems and processes, and in this role you will have an exceptional team of support analysts, business analysts, developers and system architects who are focused on making the right decisions and with helping the business to make positive changes.

At a high-level, here is what that means :

  • As a member of the Technology Leadership Team, you will contribute to the formation and execution of the overall technology strategy
  • You will champion a vision for our business systems that enables further scale and fosters innovation
  • Source, evaluate, recommend and implement the roll-out of a broad range of enterprise applications to stay ahead of our business needs
  • Build trust-based relationships and work with business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, prioritization and execution of our enterprise business systems roadmap
  • Stay informed of emerging trends to ensure our teams are equipped with the latest and greatest technology at all times
  • Partner with the business to understand technology needs, develop a technical roadmap and set priorities for the team
  • Establish clear goals and priorities for the team, coach and mentor team members for high performance
  • Direct the development and delivery of user training to maximize adoption and internal user experience
  • Manage service interruptions and support escalations, with receipt of RCCA’s as appropriate
  • What type of experience do you have?

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science or related discipline
  • IT Technology and / or IT Architecture experience of over 10 years in multiple industries, with real-estate being a plus
  • Experience with JD Edwards and associated real-estate modules (Real Estate Management, Job Cost, Fixed Assets)
  • Experience with Insight reporting tool for JDE
  • Experience with integration tools such as Dell Boomi and Helpsystem’s GoAnywhere
  • Experience leveraging Robotic Process Automation to drive process efficiencies
  • You are described by your peers and colleagues as an exceptional leader, and you have experience managing a technology team
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communications skills. You can communicate well with technical coworkers, but love figuring out how to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences;
  • Extensive experience delivering complex technical projects, providing excellent application support, and driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for a technology roadmap
  • You have 3-5 years’ experience leveraging an industry standard service management tool, such as Remedy, ServiceNow
  • Proven abilities in understanding critical business and technical metrics, paramount to application support operations
  • Strong creative problem solving skills with a passion for innovation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Superior presentation & communication skills
  • Strong change management skills; change agent
  • Proven interpersonal customer service experience
