JOB SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator, Accessibility Advisory Services (AAS), is responsible for managing all AAS projects from RFP through to the completion of the contract.
This position will be responsible for collecting data from clients in relation to the RFP, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met, facilitating client communications, providing updates on the status of projects in weekly team meetings, following-up on client proposals as needed, and ensuring the workload of all AAS proposals and projects is evenly delegated among the team and their calendars.
Accessibility Advisory Services support organizations who are striving for certification under Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) to be recognized as leaders in creating inclusive spaces.
This position is responsible for advising on the application RHFAC, best practices in Universal Design in the built environment, developing accessibility manuals, conducting facility accessibility assessments and managing, executing and delivery of projects.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Project Coordinator, AAS, reports to the Director, Accessibility Advisory Services, and is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Accessibility Specialist.
This position works closely with the AAS team including the Sr. Executive Coordinator, Strategic Initiatives, as well as external clients.

Education : University degree, Diploma or Certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in a relevant field.
