  • YOUR ROLE :

  • Select product accurately in all climates (dry, coolers, and freezers)
  • Assemble and select cases from pick locations for store orders daily in an accurate, efficient and productive manner. Order is assembled onto wood pallets
  • Perform visual and operational vehicle safety inspections and report any unsafe vehicles to shift Supervisor or maintenance personnel
  • Responsible for ensuring that all cases and pallets are properly identified with the correct store number
  • Secures selected cases and conducts final pallet preparations by wrapping selected loads and applying shipping labels
  • Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Acts and all Loblaw policies
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must have a High school diploma, or be working towards one
  • Relevant experience is preferred, but we will provide training
  • Able to work in cold (-15 degrees) for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive attitude, team player with track record in customer service excellence
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs repetitively
  • Must have a flexible schedule : Monday through Sunday with the possibility of working statutory holidays and overtime if required
  • Skill in operating warehouse equipment : i.e.; Electric Pallet Jacks (single and double), and / or Reach Trucks is an asset but not necessarily required. We will train.
