Senior Quality Analyst / Tester

Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Reviews requirements, specifications and other deliverables to provide ROM estimate on testing effort
  • Participates in detailed project release planning and delivery efforts to validate and update the testing estimates including resources and skillsets required
  • Reviewing, analyzing, interpreting and finalizing the required tests for new and / or modified products or product components with developed requirements and design documentations
  • Owns overall Test Strategy with the testing process including tools usage and finalizes test methodology for particular project or product
  • Accountable for test coverage with respect to the identified test cases including prioritization for different phases of testing
  • Accountable for test environments setup and availability including necessary test data required during test execution phase
  • Finalizes test status reports for the project including forecasting and managing the project status as per the plan
  • Remove impediments, decision on tools and test approach, managing the risks associated and escalations as required
  • Lead defect triage meetings ensuring correct priority and severity levels are assigned
  • Ensure SLAs are met for defect turnaround times as per the severity and priority levels
  • Leads the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs
  • Continually apply the software testing practices, concepts and principles throughout software development life cycle
  • Identify, collect, analyze and report on meaningful test metrics and proactively use those metrics across projects
  • Influence the scope, direction, and testing method required for each project
  • Escalate to project or program managers as required to expedite outstanding issues, concerns with regards to quality, milestones and mitigate risks when necessary
  • Manage resources to ensure the deliverables are met with the highest level of quality
  • Manage stakeholders' expectations of quality for the product or enhancement
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Looking for a candidate with 5-7 yrs of experience in testing.
  • Good to have proven experience in lead capacity of at least 2 yr.
  • QA Lead capacity experience with banking domain
  • Strong experience on Test methodologies .
  • Exposure in building Test strategy for large programs
  • Hands on experience on UI test automation for 1 yr.
  • Very good understanding of UI testing tools / frameworks (Selenium)
  • Ability to guide team members on UI automation issue resolution
  • Working experience in building CI pipeline for UI tests
  • Exposure to Agile methodology
  • Good in communication
  • Nice to have exposure on model based testing
  • Nice to have ConformIQ Test tool experience
